West Avenue Cider Wedding

If you haven't been to West Avenue Cider before, then this is your sign! I rave about it all the time- the staff, food, cider and atmosphere are all amazing! It is located between Guelph and Hamilton and is such a great place to go if you are wanting a relaxing day in the country with your friends and family! It is also such a great location for a fun country wedding. And those are without a doubt my favourite kind of wedding. 😊
James & Elena had the perfect wedding at West Avenue! The ladies stayed in the beautiful cottage on site the night before (airbnb link at the bottom of the page) and got ready there the morning of. If you are a bride who doesn't want to go anywhere on the day of your wedding, then you will agree that this is a great perk for this venue!
When I arrived, the cottage was buzzing with excitement! Music was playing and the ladies were all laughing as their hair and makeup was getting finished up.
E's sweet dog Chloe was in on the action throughout the day and was getting ready to walk down the aisle too!
After the bridesmaids walked up the aisle, the couple's adorable neice walked up with Chloe!
The wonderful Amber Shurr was the officiant and wow, she did such an excellent job at matching the vibe of the day! Lots of laughs were had as the couple surprised the guests with a unity shot during their ceremony!
Chloe wanted to be close to her humans so throughout the ceremony she laid down by the bride and groom. I had lots of fun getting photos of her since it was an important day for her too! 😄
The bride & groom kissed and walked back up the isle to music and bubbles flying through the air! So much fun!!
Afterwards, I enjoyed taking lots of candids of guests playing lawn games and mingling before the reception. Everyone was having a blast!
The reception was set up outside with the beautiful furniture that West Avenue has for guests to use. Delicious wood fired oven pizzas and salads were served!
The evening finished up with speeches and games and a dance, it was hard for me to leave such a fun night with such a great group of people!
I am very grateful to have been apart of J & E's beautiful wedding! Not only was the venue amazing but also the couple! I cannot get over how kind and sweet they both are. And as I watched them and their guests throughout the day, they were all truly in the moment and enjoying themselves which I love to see! No doubt the relaxed bride and groom and atmosphere of West Avenue helped with that!
